Daytime running light control box for vehicles without light switch
Installing the DRL CONTROL- BOX CB1 ensures correct switching between the daytime running lights and the lights at the front of the vehicle. According to regulations, the daytime running lights must be connected in such a way that they go out automatically when the main headlights are switched on. As the main headlights are always on in vehicles without a light switch, the daytime running light function cannot be used correctly. The BOX is suitable for LED and conventional headlights and is installed between the main headlight with integrated or separate daytime running light and the vehicle electrics. The parking light function, which is switched via the ignition lock when the vehicle is parked, is fully functional.

A separate ON and OFF switch is also required for the DRL CONTROL-BOX (not included).
The rear tail light must always remain switched on, i.e. set to ignition plus.
If this product, in conjunction with the TYPE 6 headlight, does not switch on the daytime running light after starting the engine, please proceed as follows:
Install the enclosed 120 Ohm resistor as specified in the instructions. The headlight should now also switch on the daytime running light.
