SW-Motech PRO Fuel Tank Ring for Kawasaki Z 650 (ER650H, ER650K)

In this model of the PRO Tank Ring, a tank ring adapter replaces the factory-installed fuel filler neck. The PRO Tank Ring is attached to the tank ring adapter. Two riser elements ensure optimal positioning of the tank backpack over the tank.

The PRO Tank Ring perfectly combines the innovative strength of two German companies: The QUICK-LOCK latching mechanism of SW-MOTECH tank rings—which has proven itself over many years—is now even easier to operate thanks to the magnetic guide system of Fidlock technology. The positioning of the upper ring has been significantly improved: The sliding upper ring is pre-mounted on the tank bag with a guide rail, eliminating the need to drill into the tank bag.

This allows the top ring to be individually aligned on the guide rail on the underside of the tank bag. Once the correct position is found, the top ring is securely screwed in place. When switching to a different motorcycle, the position of the top ring can be adjusted accordingly.

The magnetic guide, developed by Fidlock, complements SW-MOTECH’s already sophisticated mechanical QUICK-LOCK latch: The magnets guide the top ring into the correct position on the tank ring, and the latch snaps securely into place. In this way, the force of the magnets helps position the tank bag. Secure the tank bag in a single step and hit the road—your luggage stays securely in place, and it’s fun, too.

The mechanical locking mechanism secures the tank bag, and the magnets guide the two parts of the ring together. The robust glass-fiber-reinforced plastic, with its high-precision locking geometry, ensures that the tank bag remains firmly in place in all riding conditions.
