The ABS dongle unlocks additional functions in the ABS control and ECU.Functions on Adventure models: ABS mode "Offroad":ABS function is only active on the front wheel (single-channel ABS). The rear wheel can be locked at any time without ABS controlling the braking process. ABS mode "Off":ABS function is switched off and remains deactivated even after the ignition is switched on again. KTM engine drag torque control (MSR)
The optionally available engine slip control (MSR) works in the opposite direction to the MTC. If the engine drag torque is too high due to rapid downshifting or abrupt throttle release, the ride-by-wire system opens the throttle just enough to prevent the rear wheel from drifting away. Thanks to MSC support, this system also works depending on lean angle. Safety comes first, of course - but pleasure always comes a close second at KTM.
