Athena, a leader in the manufacture of motorcycle spare parts for over 40 years, introduces its new range of forged 4-stroke off-road pistons manufactured by reverse extrusion. Manufactured using state-of-the-art CNC machining tools that ensure dimensional tolerances of less than 0.01 mm, Athena pistons are made from a special high-performance, high-silicon aluminum alloy that guarantees the same reliability as the OE piston, while offering greater resistance and excellent performance. The perfectly smooth profile ensures an even flow and perfect flame spread.

Some piston skirts also feature a molybdenum disulphide coating, which is applied by screen printing and further reduces friction to improve performance and durability.

Athena engineers provide advanced technical solutions and the highest quality standards that meet or exceed those of original equipment to ensure performance and reliability.
Each piston, developed in Italy by Athena's R&D department, is tested on engine test benches under progressive load and then tested on the race track to confirm its performance even in the most extreme conditions.
