Regulations according to §50 StVZO

Additional lights may be mounted at a maximum distance of 250mm from the center of the vehicle and at a maximum height of the main headlight. Under this condition, it is also permissible to mount them on the crash bar, which provides more effective illumination.

Our headlights can be operated as fog lights or as additional high beams.

It should be noted here:

While there is no restriction on the number of fog lights permitted, only one additional high beam may be operated on the motorcycle, which must be coupled to the high beam of the main headlight. Operation as a fog light can be switched with the limiting or dipped beam light.

For these reasons, Hepco & Becker offers sets with 2 headlights as fog lights, which are switched with their own switch.

The headlights must have the E-mark in order to be operated.
Our LED Flooters have a corresponding certification mark and are therefore registration-free.

Detailed mounting instructions with wiring diagram are included with the flooters. Everything is pre-assembled, without soldering work. Cutting of cables is not necessary.
The on/off switch is attached to the dashboard/handlebar.

The headlights must be adjusted during a test drive in the dark so that other road users are not dazzled.
We recommend a visit to a specialist workshop for installation.
