Half-height windows offer sufficient weather protection and generally do not exceed the height of approx. 54 cm permitted by the TÜV. Individual approval by the TÜV is therefore possible, but should be discussed with the TÜV beforehand.

High windows offer the best weather protection. They are all the rage in all European countries. In Germany, however, the TÜV causes problems because "a scratched windshield could obstruct visibility".
