Loctite 518 Engine surface sealant - 50ml

LOCTITE 518 is a medium strength, general purpose gasket with excellent tolerance for contamination. Ideal for steel, cast iron and aluminum flanges.

LOCTITE® 518 cures in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces. The anaerobic surface sealing product is used for torsion-resistant cast iron, aluminum and steel flanges. LOCTITE 518 can bridge gaps up to 0.25 mm and forms a flexible, chemical resistant and tough gasket. Joints are easy to release even after prolonged use. Typical applications include the sealing of close-fitting joints between torsionally rigid metal sealing and flange surfaces. The product is also used for the production of surface seals on torsionally rigid flange connections, e.g. on gearboxes and engine housings.
