Product information "Lower crash bar for BMW R 1250 GS, stainless steel"

 

Unlike all other crash bars on the market, this cylinder protection bar is not attached directly to the engine mounts. The bar is attached to three mounting plates. Thanks to the special design, these mounting plates absorb the forces that occur in the event of a fall without transferring them directly to the engine mounting points.

Details:

  • Material: Stainless steel shot-peened (surface is compacted) and electropolished
  • Tubes ø 25 mm
  • Manufactured entirely in ITALY
  • Fastening by means of retaining plates at 3 points
  • Mounting plates made of special steel, which absorb 70% of the impact in the event of a fall and thus prevent damage to the original engine mounts (holes) .
