Oxford Beast lock

Some say that size doesn't matter. When it comes to locks, it does matter! The Oxford BEAST is so big that there is a warning on the packaging: ATTENTION - HEAVY! The lock alone weighs 3.6 kg, the chain 15.5 kg! For comparison:
- The BEAST has a 30 mm locking pin. Our next largest lock has a 16 mm pin and is approved to the 4 highest international security standards!
- The BEAST lock body has a circumference of 90 mm (as much as a pint glass) and is made entirely of solid steel
- The 22 mm thick hardened steel chain links each weigh as much as a bag of sugar

A key replacement service is available for the Beast. When you buy your Beast, simply make a note of the number attached to the keys on a metal plate. Keep this in a safe place so that you can have a new key made if you lose all your keys.

This Beast lock has undergone rigorous independent testing and has been awarded Sold Secure Powered Cycle (Motorcycle) DIAMOND certification. There is no higher Sold Secure award. The international security standards organization ART has awarded the Beast 5 stars. ART assigns a rating from 1 to 5 (5 being the highest) based on a variety of tests conducted by both machines (tensile strength, torsional strength, cutting, corrosion, dust and freeze tests) and test engineers (brute force and intelligent attack tests).
