The new slide pads stylishly enhance your motorcycle with their slim design and appearance. They also protect the coated bar and the motorcycle in the event of punctual or abrasive contact with the ground or road. In this way, the pads reduce or prevent expensive damage to the motorcycle or possibly save you having to replace the protective bar. The cushioning effect of the plastic in the event of a sudden impact in the event of a fall means that some of the impact energy can be absorbed. The design of the component geometry, which represents a larger contact surface than the pure tube contact point in the event of contact with the ground, increases the effective sliding surface. This ensures that only low frictional resistance results in the event of light contact, but that the grinding phase is shortened in terms of time and space due to the larger contact surface in the event of prolonged, abrasive road contact, for example. This means that the slide pads shorten the time in which the motorcycle slides and thus the sliding distance itself.
