In the event of a fall, frame crash pads give additional protection to the engine and fairing parts of the BMW S 1000 R . The shape, surface and material ensure excellent sliding properties and reduce damage to the motorcycle. The substructure can be mounted on the mounting points of the frame. Parts of the side fairing must be removed for installation. If necessary, the CNC-milled abrasive pads made of abrasion-resistant polyamide can be quickly replaced.
