SW-MOTECH manufactures this foot brake lever extension from milled aluminum to fit the original foot brake lever of the BMW R 1300 GS.

SW-MOTECH manufactures the extensions from milled, high-strength aluminium alloy with a black anodized surface and a stainless steel tread plate. For optimum adaptation to ergonomics, the brake lever step can be adjusted in two stages of 22 or 27 millimetres.

The foot brake lever extension is ideal for off-road riding: it complements the original brake lever step and guarantees a safe, well-dosed step on the brake. The extension allows both a widening and an increase in the contact surface. The foot brake lever extension therefore offers more safety and better control of the rear brake.

When riding off-road, you often alternate between sitting and standing. When standing, the knee angle changes and the foot can exert less pressure on the small pedal. By increasing the contact surface, the foot is angled more strongly and can easily reach and control the brake lever even when standing. The elevation can be adjusted in two different stages.

In addition to the elevation, the foot brake lever extension has a wider contact surface. This has a serrated surface and therefore offers better grip if the surface of the lever is dirty or wet.
