Tuning ABS sensor wheel (+10 kmh/) for Vespa GTS 300 HPE

ABS/ASR sensor wheel ( Speedwheel ) for Vespa GTS HPE 300 (from year of manufacture 2019).

The Vespa models from year of manufacture 2019 have a much more powerful engine, but due to the very early speed limiter, they do not achieve a higher final speed. Achieved, without intervention in the engine control, a 10km / h faster final speed. The sensor wheel inductively indicates the rear wheel speed to the receiver of the control electronics.

Calibration of the speedometer

The strongly leading speedometer display is recalibrated, thereby the vehicle reaches a 10km/h higher final speed. The legally prescribed speedometer advance of 7% is invalid, therefore this is a NOT APPROVED TUNING-PART. Afterinstallation, the ABS and ASR, must be recalibrated, this is easily possible with a few simple steps.

Installation

For installation, the exhaust and the swingarm on the right side of the vehicle must be dismantled. The sensor wheel is mounted on the rim and is fixed with 5x M6 screws. You simply exchange your sensor wheel for the speedwheel. After that you have to recalibrate the ASR and the ABS.
