For the CNC machined wheel hub from SIP a high-strength aluminum alloy is used as a basis. Due to the CNC machining and fine balance of the wheel hub and the extremely smooth running bearings, you get a noticeably nicer concentricity compared to the original component. The wheel hub is suitable for PIAGGIO steering columns (eg MP3/GTS, etc.) in conjunction with a brake disc with 6-hole mount and pitch circle diameter of 105mm. For models up to 2013, the sprocket is required to drive the speedometer worm (Piaggio part no. PI267818), models from 2014 have a speed sensor integrated in the wiring harness as standard, here the sprocket is no longer required.
