Basic tank ring for Suzuki GSX-8T (25-) Hepco & Becker

This functional tank ring enables the attachment of a tank bag from Hepco&Becker. The scope of delivery includes a BASIC tank ring and the counterholder, which can be individually screwed to the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar angle. The tank cap can still be opened without any problems when the tank ring is fitted.

• The Hepco&Becker tank bag is simply put on and locks clearly audible on the tank ring
• Unlocking: The mechanism is unlocked by a strap at the front of the tank bag in the direction of travel and the tank bag is then simply removed
• Tank bag systems do not require an ABE or registration in the papers in Germany.

Difference between Lock-it and BASIC tank rings:

• The general function and operation remains the same. However, compared to the Lock-it tank ring, the Basic tank ring only locks mechanically. With the Lock-it tank ring, the magnets help with centering. The difference lies purely in the two magnetic or plastic domes that are screwed onto the tank ring. The actual model-specific "metal ring" is the same for both versions.

Notes:

• Not suitable for: Street Enduro M, Epic 11, Epic 13
• Epic 6 and Epic 16 only possible with 6 mm raised plate (710506001)
• Identical to universal tank ring 516010-5
• A tank bag with Lock-it counterholder cannot be mounted on a BASIC tank ring and vice versa. Tank bag counterholder and tank ring must be from the same system.
