BMC replacement sports air filters are high-performance filters, offer a higher air flow rate than conventional air filters and thus have a positive effect on the combustion process of the engine.
They can be easily replaced with the original air filter, can be regenerated and therefore last almost a lifetime.
BMC sports air filters are made from a multi-layer cotton fabric impregnated with a low-viscosity oil. The filter fabric is reinforced by an aluminum mesh, which is protected from fuel vapors and oxidation by epoxy paint. Impurities are filtered out of the air, absorbed by the cotton fibers and bound by the filter oil, ensuring that the performance of the filter remains constant for a long time.
BMC sports air filters are manufactured using a special process called "full molding". This process makes it possible to produce the distinctive red filter in a single casting. The material used is very durable and adapts to any shape of air filter box thanks to its flexibility.
