Electronic throttling to 35 kW for Euro 4 motorcycles:
With the throttle kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all performance classes become more interesting for the motorcyclist, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving license class. The power-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and twice the output power of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of the power reduction. Essential factors have to be taken into account: on the one hand, the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise and power measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimum drivability and homogeneous power delivery as unchanged as possible.

The latest version makes throttling for vehicles with "ride by wire" even easier, faster and more convenient. These vehicles can now be reduced to 35 kW with absolute operational reliability without the additional throttle orifices (*) used in the past. The newly developed control technology of the modules ensures the correct ratio of gasoline and air at all times.

The redundancy required by law is of course met, as is the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
The workshop time for the installation of the throttle is significantly reduced, the installation is faster and very easy to implement.
A major advantage of the MCR throttle for bikers remains the complete use of the angle of rotation on the throttle grip - every movement towards full throttle provides propulsion!

(*) For Euro 4 vehicles with conventional throttle cables to the throttle bodies, the additional throttle shutters remain indispensable component for the correct mixture composition - the lean with reduced gasoline supply, but fully open throttle body is thus prevented.
