Sintered metal materials give this brake pad its unique properties.
The advantage lies in the composition of the material, the components can be finely dosed and then mixed to achieve the desired properties such as wet braking behavior, high initial braking performance, fading prevention, wear resistance and much more. In the manufacturing process, the powdery mixture is pressed into a compact brake pad under high pressure.

Sintered metal brake pads do not require the break-in period that is familiar from organic pads. Nevertheless, the first braking tests should only be carried out up to around 50% of the possible braking power in order to give the new alpha Technik brake pads the opportunity to adapt optimally to the surface of the brake disc and to form a corresponding deposit, i.e. a "deposit" of abrasion from the pad, on the brake disc.
This promotes braking performance and helps to reduce brake disc wear.
